OpenAI said it is launching three education plugins for ChatGPT Work and Codex: one for college students, one for K-12 educators, and one for college educators. The company said the tools are available through ChatGPT Edu and ChatGPT for Teachers district deployments, support domain and shared-workspace controls, and are covered by student-data privacy representations. OpenAI also tied the rollout to a five-year American Federation of Teachers initiative that it says will train 400,000 K-12 educators, plus deployments and workshops in Estonia and eight U.S. cities.
