OpenAI told Reuters that its strategy chief, Jason Kwon, would attend a separate joint committee hearing in Sydney on October 6. The two hearings should not be treated as the same appearance.
OpenAI plans to appear on October 6, but that testimony has not happened yet. An invitation alone does not mean either company will attend the Senate hearing or answer the committee's questions.
Watch the witness lists and transcripts for both hearings. Check which executives attend and which questions go unanswered.
