Nvidia adds a separate hardware watchdog for AI agents
Nvidia announced its Open Agent Safety Platform on September 28. The platform includes Sentry, a reference design that runs on BlueField-4 processors. Nvidia says a separate control system lets Sentry monitor AI agents and quarantine them in milliseconds.

Nvidia says Sentry can quarantine agents in milliseconds. The release does not show whether the full system can stop independent attackers. A reference design also does not prove that every partner has deployed every advertised feature.
Watch for independent tests that try to bypass Sentry. Those tests should report missed detections and quarantine times on deployed hardware.
