Yandex shuts down Vladimir data center after drone damage

Yandex said drone damage shut down its Vladimir data center on October 11, Reuters reported. Some services became unavailable. Later that day, Reuters cited a RIA report that Yandex was gradually restoring access, though some functions were still unavailable.

Restoring Yandex services does not show that the damaged data center is back online. Reuters based both reports on company statements, and those statements did not describe the equipment losses.

Yandex would need to confirm that every affected service works again. A separate report would need to describe the condition of the data center.
